As yoga is all about self exploration, we invite you to
explore the variety of classes we offer, and different teaching styles.
Beginner Yoga Flow: New to yoga?
Yoga is appropriate for just about anyone. You do not need to be flexible or
be able to quiet the mind. You simply need the desire to show up and do your
best. This class is for students new to yoga or for those who wish to work on
the foundations of the postures. This class is for all levels of students ,
modifications will be offered to support each body type. Nurturing,
supportive, and safe class.
Slow Flow: This class is
appropriate for the beginner student as well as for the seasoned yogi who
would like to slow down their pace and move into a deeper more
meditative flow. We take time moving in and out of the poses and also take
time to look inward and feel the benefits of each pose. Verbal instructions
and modifications are offered to encourage the student to work at their own
level. Leave feeling energized and stress free. This is an all levels class.
All Level Flow:
Practice finding balance, strength, and flexibility with other students of
all levels- everyone is welcome here! Follow your breath to your own inner
experience in this uplifting class and find the level that is just right for
you. Modifications are offered to accommodate everyone.
Power Flow: The ultimate experience
for people who want to tap into their power. Creating a balance between
sweat and serenity. It will power your body and power your soul! Our flow
class will torch calories, tone your body, and relax your mind.
Yin Yoga: Practice
long-held poses to open the deeper tissues of the body- connective tissue,
joints, and ligaments. This class is appropriate for all levels and though
some refer to it as passive yoga the challenge is in embracing the
stillness. A simply delicious class!
Yin/Yang Flow: A
blend of yin and yang. In yoga it is all about balance. This is the perfect
class to connect to the balance of stillness and flow. It is just the
perfect blend!
Restorative/ Tranquility Yoga:
Open to all levels of students. A place where you can take the time to just
let go into gravity with the support of props. A mellow class where you can
enjoy the space between each inhale and exhale, stretch gently, and relax
deeply into the place of tranquility at your center.
Yoga Therapy:
Teacher:Mary Hargraves. Yoga Therapy is for individuals with limited
mobility, or individuals with or at risk for debilitating Dis-ease. Yoga
Therapy is for anyone who is looking for a gentle, safe practice with deep,
healing relaxation to reduce stress and anxiety.
PreNatal Yoga
(Starting Feb. 17 at 4:00): Linking yoga
postures with the breath will lead you to new discoveries, bringing
awareness to the mind, body, heart, and souls; also the heart & soul of your
baby. The program, conducted in a calm, peaceful environment will help
strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in
digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also
alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation,
varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. A safe, open community
allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to
the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.
Guys Class: For the "Stiff Guys"
working at a slow pace, to move deep into the tight areas. Lots of deep
stretching, focusing on the shoulders, hips, hamstrings, & lower back.
